we finally ended up in tonapah, one of the greatest mining towns of nevada. we got to walk around old mines and learned never ever to go into a drift unless it's blasted out of solid rock with no wood headers. there are many old mining outhouses there and we even saw some uranium just sitting on a shelf. we went home after this.
